• Audyssey Dynamic Volume: This function solves the problem of large variations in volume level between television programs, commercials, and between the loud and soft dialog passages of movies.

• High-Quality 24-bit Audio Processing: Denon's 96KHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converter is the backbone to this receiver's exceptional multi-channel audio conversion. By executing an accurate sound-field reproduction and reducing analog noise in the signal path, it is capable of reproducing an enveloping audio signal that is unsurpassed.

• Sirius Satellite Radio Ready: It is capable of receiving Sirius Satellite digital radio, which provides 100% commercial-free 5.1-channel surround sound music of over 120 digital channels. • Compressed Audio Restorer: This technology restores MP3, WMA, and AAC compressed audio formats with higher frequency sounds, along with rich, deeper bass.

• Cinema EQ: Cinema equalizer offers the ability to correct high-frequency components (such as in Dolby Digital and DTS audio signals that come from the front speakers that are placed behind a movie screen) so that the sound is clearer and easier to listen to.

• Personal Memory Plus: This is a function that allows the receiver to store surround modes, speaker levels, and delay settings to further customize the sound source.
