• 2x HDMI 1080p Deep Color Inputs: If you're looking to pump high-definition DVD playback into your HD displays, this unit fits the bill. It has a high-bandwidth 30/36-bit processor capable of switching (2) 1080p Deep Color/x.v.Color HD signals through the HDMI (Ver. 1.3a) output; this technology ensures superb Blu-ray video and audio compatibility. HDMI supports standard, enhanced, or high-definition video on a single cable.

• High Current/Discrete Amplifier Design: As a centerpiece of home entertainment, this receiver offers exquisite functionality that will be hard to match. It boasts a High Current/Discrete amplifier design, identical power (75W) for each channel block, dedicated CPU transformer (separate from A/V circuitry), minimum signal path, dual power transformers, direct mechanical ground, and vibration resistant construction.

• 5.1-Channel and Digital Audio Decoding: It uses specific Dolby Digital and DTS codecs to reproduce an enveloping 5.1-channel surround sound experience. The unit decodes Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, DTS, DTS 96/24, and DTS Neo:6 at a frequency response of 20Hz - 20KHz. The dynamic range of this receiver is so well balanced and matched that the center, front and rear channels blend seamlessly.

• Audyssey MultEQ: For enhanced room acoustics, Audyssey MultEQ technology is included with this powerful receiver. Gathering measurements from up to (6) positions, this technology detects speakers, and then sets levels, delays and crossovers, as well as measuring room acoustics. It is designed to work with home theater systems to create a larger, fuller listening area without distorting the sound.

• Audyssey Dynamic EQ: When the output volume is adjusted, Audyssey Dynamic EQ selects the best possible frequency response and surround sound levels with minimal audio distortion. It maintains the desired listening level for all content, while optimizing the dynamic range.

• Audyssey Dynamic Volume: This function solves the problem of large variations in volume level between television programs, commercials, and between the loud and soft dialog passages of movies.

• High-Quality 24-bit Audio Processing: Denon's 96KHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converter is the backbone to this receiver's exceptional multi-channel audio conversion. By executing an accurate sound-field reproduction and reducing analog noise in the signal path, it is capable of reproducing an enveloping audio signal that is unsurpassed.

• Sirius Satellite Radio Ready: It is capable of receiving Sirius Satellite digital radio, which provides 100% commercial-free 5.1-channel surround sound music of over 120 digital channels. To listen to Sirius radio programming, you would need an optional docking adapter/tuner and activation of optional Sirius service.

• Compressed Audio Restorer: This technology restores MP3, WMA, and AAC compressed audio formats with higher frequency sounds, along with rich, deeper bass.

• Cinema EQ: Cinema equalizer offers the ability to correct high-frequency components (such as in Dolby Digital and DTS audio signals that come from the front speakers that are placed behind a movie screen) so that the sound is clearer and easier to listen to.

• Personal Memory Plus: This is a function that allows the receiver to store surround modes, speaker levels, and delay settings to further customize the sound source.

• Multiple Surround Modes: Enjoy its advanced surround modes that include: 5CH Stereo, Rock Arena, Jazz Club, Mono Movie, Video Game, Matrix, and Virtual.

• 6-Ch Discrete Input: Use the 6-channel RCA input jacks when connecting an external component to the receiver that decodes multi-channel (MPEG) audio signals such as SACD and DVD-Audio and offers the corresponding 6-channel (Front/Left, Front/Right, Center, Surround/Left, Surround/Right, and Subwoofer) outputs.
