To help re-create the thrill and realism of today's movie soundtracks at home, it offers 192KHz/24-bit processor and Dolby Digital audio decoding; it's capable of reproducing an enveloping audio signal that is unsurpassed when connected to your home theater receiver via the digital/coaxial digital connections or the discrete 5.1-channel RCA audio outputs.
Whether you're moving the player between the den and the bedroom, or using it for your kids' next sleep over, this ultra slim, compact player is an ideal solution for periodic or permanent use. Though it's a powerful DVD player, it can also be used as a CD, MP3 or JPEG player, offering you the ability to share your favorite songs and photos with friends and family. Additionally, it features repeat (loop) function, fast scan, zoom capability, camera angle support, multi-language/subtitle support, parental lock control, and a convenient on-screen display.
With connectivity to multiple A/V components, dual voltage (100-240VAC), and NTSC/PAL compatibility, the Coby DVD514 answers the call with superb versatility and reliability.

- Progressive Scan Technology
- With progressive scan playback specifications, it's capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. The result is a spectacularly clear image with no motion artifacts (stair-stepping), and details so sharp they seem as if they're etched onto the screen.
- Component Video Output
- If your television or home theater projector is equipped with a component video input, you can take full advantage of the player's super-crisp component (progressive scan) output to enjoy images that look as good as they did on the big screen.
