This unit is not that bad. I just got it today and like others stated about a sticker on the top. Well this sticker does cover pretty much the whole top of the player. To me it's not that big of a deal. What this unit does out weights a sticker in plain view. This unit is light weight, it only has RCA outputs. There are no co-axle though. I just wanted a unit to be able to play my movies from Germany. And this unit does that without any type of converter for the TV. If you have a older TV you may need a converter to handle the PAL signal. I don't think you can go wrong with this for the money. Lets just see how long this last before it starts to hang up like so many other DVD's today. But so far so good. Also is was easy to set up. Plug and play. I hope this helps someone.

I bought this product because I wanted a second inexpensive player that could play both NTSC and PAL formats without hacking into the machine and invalidating the warranty. I'd only recommend this machine if you're short of space or need to play both North American (NTSC) and European (PAL) formats. The drawback is that if you stop playing a dvd in the middle of a program, the machine cannot resume where you left off. In addition, the remote control power button only toggles between and standby. To toggle between on and off, you need to use the power button on the machine itself.

Basic, cheap, does it's job. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but it's multi-region and it's small. I wish they made more simple DVD players this size. I don't like the flat thin ones that takes up space because this little baby can sit comfortably next to my Roku player! The only bad thing is that the remote has 800 buttons! I basically only need "PLAY" for these basic DVD players.

The built-in CD player on my small CD/cassette/FM system in my office no longer worked, but the rest was fine. this product was a good size for stacking, and the sound quality is better than ever. I like music when I work and I'm enjoying it better than ever. I just ordered a different model (same brand) for my wife to play through her HD radio which has an audio inmput.
