Flip Video MinoHD Camcorder (Chrome)
The Flip Video MinoHD Camcorder (Chrome) gives you simple to use HD 720p recording that fits in your pocket. About the size of a small cell phone the MinoHD can easily be controlled with one hand. There's no menu to worry about. All the functions you need to operate the camcorder are clearly marked and easy to understand. Capture up to 60 minutes of H.264 video to the built-in 4GB flash memory.
The MinoHD also features a 1.5" LCDscreen for composition and playback, a 3 second startup time, and a silent mode for discrete recording. Another useful feature, the "Child Safe" mode, ensures that those once-in-a-lifetime clips won't be accidently erased. In addition, even though the camera lens is fixed focus, there is the option of 2x digital zoom for when you need to get just a little bit closer.
When you're ready to edit and upload your footage simply flip out the USB arm and connect it to your computer. Use the built-in FlipShare software to email, edit, and post to sites such as YouTube. The video files also work with iTunes, iMovie, and iPhoto. The HD video can be viewed on your computer, when uploaded to a video sharing site that supports HD, or when burned to a high def DVD via a Blu-ray burner and played back in a Blu-ray burner.

- Connecting the MinoHD to your computer couldn't be any easier, just flip out the USB arm and plug the camera into your computer's USB port. That's it!

- The built-in FlipShare software helps you email your footage, edit custom movies, capture still photos from video, and upload your videos to social media sites such as YouTube and Myspace.

I never leave the house without it. It's compact size makes it ideal for slipping into the side pocket of my cargo shorts, and it takes no time to set up. Turn it on, press the big red button, and start filming. I'm no geek, so I appreciate the user friendly software. Uploading to Facebook or YouTube is a breeze. All in all, an excellent product at an excellent price.

very easy to use and upload to a mac - no software or tricky installations needed. Very light and compact so we use it a lot on the go. The only complaint I have is that the screen on the back is very small and the zoom range is limited.

Use the product as a keep in your back pocket device for spontaneous recordable moments. Surprisingly easy to operate with excellent picture quality indoors and outdoors. One hour recording time means you have to transfer video to your computer maybe more frequently than you may want to, but overall this product is highly recommended. Chrome finish stays unblemished and the carrying case that comes with it is more than adequate.
