Comments about IDX LC-VWP Dual Channel Charger:
I lost a crucial component of my AG-HMC 150 - the battery charger/A/C adaptor for the camera. I couldn't charge my batteries or power my camera. Of course that piece is on backorder everywhere and I had a shoot coming up. This charger is great because it charges two batteries at a time and it is very compact and light.

Much cheaper, much better option than the Panasonic brand charger.

Comments about IDX LC-VWP Dual Channel Charger:
After losing HMC150 charger, this was an obvious replacement charger. Dual charging is really the selling point but it charges faster than Panasonic it replaced.

Comments about IDX LC-VWP Dual Channel Charger:
Works perfectly, fast and cool.
I considered buying both a duplicate of the stock Panasonic charger that came with my camera (HMC80) and the Dolgin 4-position charger, but the IDX solution came in at about half the price of either one on a per-channel basis. I bought two, and intend to carry one in the field while the other stays back at home base, unless needed for a very long shoot. I like the way they can hook together to make what is essentially a four-channel charger if wanted.

Solid construction, design and size. I´m able to charge the batteries at the same time, but then can be inserted at different times, with differente conditions.

Comments about IDX LC-VWP Dual Channel Charger:
This charger saves me so much time and energy. Working in high-intensity situations when outlets are scarce (I shoot a lot of weddings in various locations), it was always a tight spot to charge both of my batteries on separate chargers in some instances (especially when a surge protector goes bad). But this is much nicer and a lot more convenient. Now if only the darn batteries had a more accurate power read out through the camera all would be fabulous.

Comments about IDX LC-VWP Dual Channel Charger:
I enjoy being able to charge two batteries at the same time so all I have to do is plug it into the wall, slide in the batteries and let it charge. There isn't any checking and waiting to change out the batteries to charge. Because of this, I will never find myself with a dead battery when I need it the most!

Comments about IDX LC-VWP Dual Channel Charger:
I own both this charger and the similar 2-position Dolgin charger. Trying to decide which one to buy? The short answer is that the IDX is better.
The IDX is faster and charges the batteries to full capacity. The Dolgin stops before they are completely full, and I have to top them off with the panasonic or IDX chargers for a few more minutes.
The Dolgin uses a BIG wall wart which is not shown in the photos. The IDX uses a power unit that is attached to the main unit, and a regular power cord.
And the IDX charger is faster. So if you are trying to decide between the Dolgin and the IDX, buy the IDX!
PS, I wish somebody had reviewed the Dolgin before I wasted my money on it!!!
