The EDUCAST-Studio USB Duplicator with 16 USB MP3 Players and USB Mic from Hamilton is a USB duplication system that consists of the stand-alone Hamilton USB Transfer Express duplicator, 16 Hamilton-certified 1GB MP3 players, and an Easi-Speak USB microphone.
The Transfer Express uses Hamilton's exclusive duplication technology to rapidly transfer data from a master USB device to as many as 15 additional USB devices. The unit has a completely stand-alone design, so no computer is required. The USB 2.0 ports allow you to connect virtually any USB 2.0 data device, including flash drives, SD/CF cards, USB 2.0 hard drives, MP3 players, and more. There is no limit to drive size, so you can copy large amounts of data in one convenient batch.
Each of the 16 included MP3 players is compatible with the Transfer Express, allowing you to put content such as audio lessons or assignments, and more on one player, which you can treat as the "master". You can then quickly and easily transfer the content to the remaining 15 players in minutes. Each player has a 1GB capacity and can play back MP3, WMA, WMV, WAV, and ASF files. A built-in microphone allows you to record digital voice files. Each player has an LCD display and runs on a single AAA battery.
The Easi-Speak microphone has an integrated MP3/WAV audio recorder. This allows you to speak into the mic to simultaneously record your voice while you give a lesson. You can then connect the mic to the duplicator via USB, and transfer your audio to the included MP3 players or to other USB 2.0 devices.
Note! While duplication does not require a computer, a computer may be required to load content onto your master USB device.
