This Ikelite housing for the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS digital camera is an injection molded clear polycarbonate case, known for its strength and corrosion-free properties. The housing offers an unobstructed view of the cameras information and control functions and operates safely to a depth of 200'. Camera installation is quick and simple, and the o-ring seal can be checked visually through the clear housing. The housing is sized and weighted for near neutral buoyancy and superb handling underwater.
A flash diffuser is included to aid in improving lighting quality when the camera's built-in flash is used to illuminate subjects underwater. A portion of the camera's built-in flash is blocked by the lens port resulting in darkness in the lower right hand portion of the image. For best results an external strobe is recommended. You could use an Ikelite Digital SubStrobe with the Ikelite Manual Controller. The Manual Controller provides 10 power settings in half-stop increments. The optional Release Handle system allows for easy attachment and removal of SubStrobe mounting arms at the touch of a button.
The housing's lens port accepts the optional WD-4 Wide Angle Conversion Dome. The WD-4 corrects for refractive magnification so the angle of view underwater is the same as above. The conversion dome may be removed and replaced underwater and requires no modification to the housing's standard port. The dome allows you to get closer to your subject. Less water between you and your subject will produce more contrast and better color, thereby increasing the quality of your photos. The dome is best when photographing large fish, shipwrecks, and underwater scenes that include divers. The conversion lens can be attached and removed when underwater.

Comments about Ikelite 6148.20 Housing for Canon PowerShot SX200 IS:
The housing has a great solid feel to, feels like it's been manufactured well and everything fits together nicely, definately won't leak. However it does let the camera slip a millimeter or two. While this isn't much it's enough for the buttons not to line up with the case buttons. Also the zoom twister isn't the right length so changing the zoom is very cumbersome under water. I think that I'll be making some home modifications in the sense of adding some paper for some additional spacers to line up the buttons more securely. The butons aren't the easiest to use either.

Comments about Ikelite 6148.20 Housing for Canon PowerShot SX200 IS:
Superb housing and good pricing from B&H.
Only (minor) issue is getting the 12-24 screw knobs for the strobe tray. They really should be included, or at least available for sale at time of purchase.
FYI ... Due to the lens shroud on the dive body a strobe is required.

Put the camera in the housing, jumped in the water and started taking pictures and video. No leaks works great.
