The 3TB Big Disk Network Hard Drive from LaCie is an advanced network hard drive with a Gigabit Ethernet interface. The drive allows you to share files among Windows, Mac, and Linux systems on your network. It also features a USB port for storage expansion, UPnP streaming, Wake-on-LAN capability, and Active Directory support.
The drive is housed in an aluminum enclosure with an integrated heat sink for cooling. This design is both visually impressive and quiet, a combination that is sure to make an impression. The drive's blue orb is actually a button which, when activated, triggers 1-click file import from a connected USB device.
