The CX8205R Unmanaged Ethernet Switch from Pelco is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that provides (5) 10Base-T/100Base-TX ports for the transport of Ethernet data. The auto MDI/MDI-X feature allows each RJ-45 port to connect to either a straight-through or crossover RJ-45 cable. The unit's modular design makes it well suited for standalone or rackmount use. A rackmount kit and other accessories are separately available.
- This device is an unmanaged Ethernet switch designed for the transport of bidirectional Ethernet data with (5) 10Base-T/100Base-TX ports
- This model differs from the "FX" version of the product in its conformal coating, which is required for operation in environments with relative humidity above 95% (condensing)
- Its modular design makes it well suited for rackmount or desktop use
- It features auto MDI/MDI-X (Medium Dependent Interface/Medium Dependent Interface Crossover) operation
- The solution is compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3x standards
- No performance adjustments are required
- LED lights provide a visual indicator for multiple states of operation
