I use the cards in all sorts of PSA type of productions. First this card is fast and stable and has out performed other solid state cards we use in other cameras. Because we noticed the speed and stability we have switch to the Panasonic Video cameras as our primary recording device and have ordered 3 more cameras. Yes, the Panasonic P2 is a phenomenal camera at its price point, but if you don't have fast access and stability of the video captured all is lost. That is why the E series P2 Card is in my kit bag.

Rugged and functional, but seriously -- $700+/- for 64 GB of storage is a bit much. And better compatibility with high speed computer I/O would be nice.

I use the 64GB and 32 GB cards to shoot with my new HPX-250. These two cards are the perfect way to shoot lots of b-roll and interviews with the AVC-Intra 100 codec. Lots of space and the cards really hold up. Expensive buggers, too!

Bought the 64GB card to go with the other 4 P2 cards that I own. Nice to see the price coming down. Could stand to go lower. If Panasonic had come out with more economical prices in the first place they would have dominated the card based camera market. Instead they share it. I have always had good experiences with my P2 cameras and have had no issues with recording and transfering. (Some routes can be a little slower than I'd like.) This card gives me loads of extra recording space so that I don't have to format any cards in the field for most shoots. It's a good work horse, and I'm glad that I bought it and look forward to many years of good service.

This is the second 64GB P2 Card I have purchased (because I found that while shooting, it is way better to have two instead of just one). Yes, it's expensive up front, but if you take care of it, it will outlast the equivalent in DVCPRO HD Tape Stock (which is roughly selling for $70 per 10 hours) in no time.

On HPX3100 2/3" at max 1080/30pN recording, it's solid performing from harsh physical conditions and unfavorable weather (frigid cold to desert heat). I bought 36 of these cards and they're all so far they're performing flawlessly. Multi-cam live concerts and reality shows are a joy to work w/ P2 workflow. No CRC errors yet. Don't mind the current price because I recall back in 2007, the 16 Gb R series was about $1300. It's much cheaper now. P2 workflow seems to be very the current trend for broadcasters and indie content producers. The metadata upload to the cam (prior to shoot) and high quality proxy recording are great features w/ P2 format. Simultaneous proxy + MXF allows instant playback and quick content check. I can record with confident and not worry about the fragile tape-based formats. Looking forward to 128 Gb.
