Contour Windshield Mount
The VholdR Windshield Mount securely attaches the ContourHD to any car windshield or body. This suction cup mount was designed by Panavise to fasten to any part of your vehicle just by pressing the mount button and sliding the switch to lock it into place. Once mounted you'll be able to maneuver the ContourHD 360°.

Works as advertised. Contour HD 1080p slides in easily but securely. The two screws ensure it's not going anywhere once it's in. No shakiness at all, and once I had it secured on my friend's motorcycle, it didn't budge the whole time. The two adjustments let you get some pretty cool angles too. I was nervous about using it without a safety leash, but after seeing how sturdily it goes on, I relaxed and let him go crazy with it.

I was a little skeptical about the suction cup function of the mount but it works like a charm. Easy to install. Push the cup in and switch a lever that tightens it down. To remove simply switch the lever back and remove the cup. Small enough and can mount camera in any configuration. I use this mount as a dashcam in my car. B&H had the best price online for this product but I will go to them in the future for future purchases because customer service was good and extensive product line.

Works well, with a solid suction cup. The ergonomics are not fantastic, and it takes some experimentation to find the correct geometry to get it pointing the camera in the right direction. There is one flaw that is as much a problem with the camera as the stand. If you don't close the rear door before attempting to remove the camera, it will tear the rear door off, and break the door lock permanently. Caveat Emptor.

I use this in my vehicle, off road and it holds the Contour Roam steady. I intend to use it outside the vehicle as well this spring and have faith in the ability of the mount to hold the camera in place (though I will have a safety strap just in case).
Great mount, very similar in quality/feel of Ram mounts which I also own. Very glad I bought this for my Contour.

This mount is incredibly strong. I tried it out just on a window at my house. I pushed the center button on the suction cup, and it created a very strong connection. But then, you pull down the lever, and that connection probably triples. I felt like the windown would have shattered before the mount would come off! I was quite impressed. It's easy to take off by reversing the lever and then pulling the little tab on the suction cup.

I have used it in my car and at home. It is very good.I have also bought at you shop underwater case for Contour. I have used it at Niagara Falls and in the swimming pool, where I tryed divind with aqualung. Now I have a lot of interesting and good quality movies, thanks to these devises!

I bought the Contour windshield mount for my Contour GPS camera. I was able to mount the camera and drive along 17 mile drive in Carmel, California and capture all the beauty of the scenic trip.
It was easy to mount and fit the camera very well in addition to being very adjustable. I was able to configure it to easily provide a level platform for recording. I highly recommed the unit.
Lastly, I also left it on my car while traveling home on 101 where "normal" traffic speeds were 80 mph. The mount remaind securely fixed to the front fender of my truck the entire way home (2.5 hours).
I'm gonna try it on my boat next!

I'm not sure what the other reviewer's problem is, but this mount fits my CountourHD perfectly. It's very secure. I actually used this in a Cessna 172 and mounted it to get reverse shot of me and the pilot. Worked great. Highly recommend
