Flip Video Battery Pack

The Flip Video Battery Pack is an eco friendly alternative to non-rechargeable AA batteries. This pack of 2 NiMH rechargeable batteries will power your Flip Ultra (2nd generation) or UltraHD for up to 4.5 and 2.5 hours respectively. Simply place the Battery Pack in your Ultra's battery slot and record away. When it's time to recharge just connect the camcorder to your computer's USB port or to the Flip Video Power Adapter.

Makes the Flip much more useable. The first time we took our Flips out into the field (salt marshes on the Georgia coast), we were burning through AA batteries like tires at a drag strip. For a 10-day China trip, we packed four of these to use with two Flip cams. We never needed the backups; the cameras went all day.

As with all electronic gear, it is important to always have backup batteries. This includes the Flip Ultra HD camera. Even though the battery lasts 2 1/2 hrs while the camera can only capture 2 hrs of footage, I can think of a host of situations when your battery will die when you still have room for more footage, from deleting footage, to repeatedly reviewing footage, to forgetting to charge the first battery. So be sure to have the back up battery to give yourself more flexibility!
