I purchased this power charger as part of my husband's Christmas gift, along with a FLIP video camera. It's a nice compact size and the prongs fold in for easy travel or storage. One thing I'm not sure about - although it does work well - is the way the camera connects to the charger, via the usb port. Seems like it would be a bit unstable if the camera wasn't supported on a hard surface. Now the charger actually worked without a hitch, just appears to be a rather odd way to connect to the camera. I'm glad I bought this wall charger.

This is not the greatest design. Unlike chargers for other cameras you plug the entire camera into this. With the Flip hanging from the charger rigidly it seems like a lot of stress is placed on the USB arm. I will probably use this with an extension cord so the camera can rest on a surface or not use it at all and charge the camera from the computer.

As you know, the Flip video camera proved to be a popular and easily carried video camera, but it is going out of production. Get all the accesories you might need now before they go out of stock. I find it easier to recharge the Flip this way rather than using your computer.

I bought this when I bought the flip battery pack, it works really well charging it. I recommend buying the usb extension cords to use with it though, because just connecting it to the flips usb connector didn't feel very sturdy to me, it just hung there.

I use this product to charge my 2hr Flip HD recorder. I record panels and speeches at conventions and I need a well charged camera before a panel starts to capture a quality video. This does the job and I have not had any problems.

When I heard that Cisco was dumping Flip I went looking for any accessories while they were still available and at a reasonable price. I never knew they had this and grabbed it ASAP. The laptop recharge never seemed to complete, even when plugged in for hours. This even completely recharged a battery that the laptop connection never could. Supposed to take 3.5 hrs, but it seemed shorter than that. If you have a Flip buy this while you can.

Very small. I charged my unit on the USB cable until it was supposedly fully charged, then connected it to the Power Adapter, and it charged some more.
I have not done any time tests, or anything like that, I simply went by the charging indicator on the camers.
Purchase a USB extension cable, cause hanging the camera from the Power Adapter is not the best idea in the world.
