With its continued stellar reputation in high-quality long distance video distribution, TV One introduces its 1T-CT-458 Receiver for RGBHV Video and RS-232. In a nutshell, this unit is a CAT5 extender that offers twisted pair (RJ-45) signal conversion to a RGBHV (15-pin HD) video output, and RS-232 serial control via 9-pin D-Sub output. It's compatible with HDTV signals, supports resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p @ 60Hz, and works in conjunction with TV-One's optional 1T-CT-445 transmitter. It can maintain a system range of 1000' (300 m) with its built-in RGB skew adjustment that's capable correcting delay errors in the transmitted video signal. In addition, it features DDC2B/EDID Protocol that provides automatic resolution detection for the remote monitor, and equalization and gain adjustments ensures optimum picture quality.
With its superb signal reliability, twisted pair signal conversion technology, and skew correction capability, the TV One 1T-CT-458 is an ideal solution for long distance cable distribution often required by broadcast studios, presentation and multimedia applications, security and military installations, and more.
Note! This unit must be used in conjunction with the 1T-CT-445 transmitter to achieve a complete solution.
- Twisted Pair (RJ-45) Signal Conversion
- Twisted pair (RJ-45) cabling uses 2 conductors (forward and return) that are twisted together in a specific fashion (pitch/twist rate per meter) to cancel out electromagnetic interference and crosstalk (noise) from external sources and its environment. The 1T-CT-458 is great for sending high-resolution computer graphics video, HDTV signals, and RS-232 serial control over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cabling such as standard CAT5, 5e, or 6 (Ethernet network cable).
- Supports WUXGA and HDTV Signals
- Its advanced video transport circuitry supports RGBHV video with maximum resolutions up to WUXGA (1920x1200) and HDTV/1080p.
- RS-232 Serial Control
- If an RS-232 control signal is detected in the twisted pair (RJ-45) input, this unit will convert the signal and output it on the RS-232 (9-pin D-Sub) output.
- 1000' (300 m) Range
- In conjunction with the 1T-CT-445, this receiver enables a system range up to 1000' (300 m) at a maximum resolution up to WUXGA and 1080p HDTV @ 60Hz.
- DDC2B/EDID Protocol
- This systems supports the DDC2B/EDID protocol, which when used with a DDC2B/EDID monitor, provides automatic resolution detection for the remote monitor.
- RGB Skew Correction
- Use the RGB skew adjustment trimmers to adjust signal timing distances due to varying pair lengths within the twisted pair CAT5 cable. Simply turn the front-panel skew trimmers to add or subtract the delay timing, this is essential for correcting delay errors in long cable runs throughout the studio or facility. Note: for proper sequence of adjustments, the skew adjustment should be made after the equalization and gain adjustments.
- Equalization and Gain Adjustments
- Due to long cable runs the transmitted video signal will suffer, resulting in a loss in video sharpness and brightness. Equalization and gain adjustments on the 1T-CT-458 help restore and/or correct the overall image quality to acceptable levels.
- Large Venue Solution
- The 1T-CT-458 is an ideal solution for schools, transportation hubs, hospitals, financial institutions, commercial/retail installations, virtually any large venue that requires high-quality, extra long distance twisted pair video distribution.
- Optional Mounting
- Aside from its rugged chassis and integrated mounting flange, it offers an optional RM-370T adapter for rack mounting capabilities.
- DC Lock
- It features an exclusive locking DC power connector, which prevents inadvertent power disruption.
