The Sony HKSR-5802 is an optional board for the SRW-5800 and SRW-5100 decks, providing those VTRs with the ability to play back HDCAM and Digital Betacam tapes. With this board installed, the decks will also be able to upconvert to HD-SDI output as well as SD-SDI and analog composite output from Digital Betacam tape. Furthermore, even Digital Betcam tapes recorded in PAL (625/50) can be upconverted to 1080i/50 HD video. This board also supports Dynamic Tracking, with -1 to +2 times normal playback speed for HDCAM and -1 to +3 for Digital Betacam.
