We replaced an old SK300 (G1 original) with this unit. I had it hooked up and running with our old 300 series G1 receiver in no time. Primary usage is voice (sermons, etc) in a Church auditorium.
Sound quality is better than from our old SK300 transmitter, this unit is much smaller than the original unit was, and works with the older receivers too. The unit is well built, still has a metal case like the originals did, and is made in the USA.
Highly recommended.

I use this product in combination with a lav mic for a television show, in combination with the wireless receiver.
I bought one a year ago and liked it so much I bought another one.
Sennheiser is an amazing brand.
It is a bit pricey, but these products work well and they last.

Purchased as a replacement for a broken body pack from an EW112G3 entire system. Worked well and synced automatically with the the existing receiver we had without any trouble at all.
Only con would be relating to the original transmitter we had, which stopped working without any sign of damage.
