This is a crudely designed and cheaply made mount. I bought it for my road bike, to film some downhill sections, but my camera (Pentax W90) felt so unstable on the mount that I haven't dared use it.

There's also no adjustment on the mount head, so you can't move the camera up or down.

I regret purchasing this product. A friend of mine recently bought a Flymount, and it's so much better than this.

I had high hopes for this bike mount and rightfully so for [$]. But it is not the least bit universal and took extensive modifications (bending and drilling) to make it attach to my fairly new Trek. The tripod screw is fixed, so you cannot adjust the camera angle, so I attached a small ball head (from my TrekPod). The top part barely locks down on the base and would barely hold even a small camera. And the vibration made recording a video impossible (my camcorder shut off from being bounced around too much), and as I learned there are an awful lot of movements the bike makes that you don't perceive, but the camera catches it all and makes viewing unpleasant (which I admit is not the bike mount's fault). Go with a helmet cam if you want to record video while you ride - don't bother with this thing.
