The ARM Electronics MPEG-4 Networkable DVR is an affordable and easy to use 16 channel DVR. With its built-in multiplexer, this DVR can be used to simultaneously view, record, playback, and remotely monitor up to 16 analog CCTV cameras.
Video is recorded in the MPEG-4 format at up to 480 FPS for the combined channels and is stored to an internal 3TB HDD. Three internal HDD bays offer a total of 3TB storage capacity.
To maximize storage and network resources, video resolution and frame rates can be individually adjusted for each camera input. There's also an auto configuration tool that will automatically set rates and resolution based on the number of recording days needed. A motion detection function further helps in saving storage space while making it easy to search for files.
Video can be easily offloaded to a CD or external USB drive for transfer or archiving purposes. Often used settings can be saved to a USB flash drive, thus making it easy to set up multiple DVR units.
A front panel jog shuttle control provides easy FF, rewind, and frame-by-frame advancement. This DVR also allows a PTZ dome camera to be controlled directly from the front panel without the need for a separate keyboard controller.
This DVR runs on the reliable Linux operating system, supports multiple user access levels, and applies a watermark to recorded video frames to preserve their legal integrity.
