The Photoflex StarFlash 300W/s 3' OctoDome Kit provides enough power for various shooting situations. From portraiture to an intricate still-life requiring a small f/stop, the StarFlash series delivers. Besides the 300W/s StarFlash, the kit includes a 3' (91.4 cm) OctoDome with connector, a stand, kit case with interior compartments and a FlashFire Wireless Remote System.
The monolight can be used with an optional reflector or umbrella or the included OctoDome softbox. The included Tilt Swivel Mount is secure and allows for a tilt range of 170°. The Tilt Swivel can be repositioned on the StarFlash to compensate for weight imbalance when using larger soft boxes.
While you can trigger your StarFlash with a sync cord or via its optical slave, the included FlashFire Wireless Kit is a better option. The 2.4 GHz, 16-channel system has a range of 164' (50 m). Flash syncs up to 1/200 second are possible and the receiver features a built-in hot shoe for on-camera flash units. The FlashFire is powered by a CR2 and 2 AAA batteries (purchased separately).

- The OctoDome consistently delivers even, natural light with clean catchlights from your strobe unit. The internal diffusion baffle eliminates extreme highlights and hot spots. The internal baffle and diffusion face are each easily removed, allowing you to go from soft, diffused lighting to high-contrast without changing your setup.

- Each monolight recharges in 1 - 2 seconds. Audible and ready-light indicators provide full-charge alert.

- Built-In Slave
- Built-in optical slave "sees" the light from other flashes and fires automatically.

- The medium-weight LS-2214 is strong yet portable, with all-metal construction, and extends over 8' (2.4 m).
