Auralex SpeakerDudes HD - Speaker Isolation Pads (Pair)
The Auralex SpeakerDudes HD are speaker isolation platform pads, designed to isolate the speaker from its mounted surface. The isolation reduces resonance and creates a dampening that enhances the listening experience in studios and home theaters. The pads are sold as a pair and are also suitable for isolating CD burners, laptops and other gear that may warrant vibration isolation.
- Decouple your speakers from the surface
- Low frequencies will be projected and will no longer lack the definition you desire
- Mid and high frequencies will be crisp and intelligible
- Controls rattles and resonances

Office environment with M-Audio near field monitors on speaker stands. Speakers were coupling with the stands and muddying up the low mids. These isolate the speakers perfectly. Now enjoying great sound in my office everyday!

I ordered these for my Audioengine A5s. They are very nicely cut but only have two angles of adjustment and looked just like what they are, foam blocks. I got some 1 inch bubble wrap, cut around the bubbles neatly and placed them under the speakers with 2 layers in the front to get the exact angle I wanted. They work at least as good as the Speaker Dudes for damping and look cool - my wife thought they were glass.

I had my LSi9 speakers sitting directly on my desk. Once I put them on the Speakerdudes it was like night and day in the sound quality. I can't do these justice with a review, you just have to experience the difference.

For the price, I could not be happier with the SpeakerDudes. I listen to a lot of music with heavy bass, and since I purchased these my neighbors who live below me claim they never hear any vibration (and I have hardwood floors).
