The EverFocus EDR410H/160 brings affordable DVR technology to a home or business. Its small size means that it doesn't take up a lot of desk or rack space and also makes it easy to transport from location to location as needed. Despite its small stature, this DVR packs many of the features and functions found on full-size units. These include a network connection for remote Internet access, an intelligent motion detection system with Email notification and audio I/O ports.
- Network Connection
- Live and recorded video can be accessed from a remote location over the Internet. With its built-in multiplexer, both local and network users can simultaneously access the same material without adversely affecting video quality or DVR performance.
- Hot Swappable Hard Drive
- Video is stored to an internal 160GB that can easily be removed simply by pulling out the HDD tray without having to first power down the unit. This makes it easy to swap drives to and from DVRs. It also provides an easy way to archive material. When a drive becomes full it is simply removed from the DVR and replaced with a fresh one.
- USB Connection
- A USB connection greatly enhances DVR functionality. It allows recorded material to be quickly transferred to a USB memory drive for archiving or viewing purposes
- Intelligent Motion Detection w/Email Notification
- An advanced motion detection function can be applied to all camera inputs. Motion detection is fully configurable for area and sensitivity. By recording only important footage, motion detection greatly cuts down on storage and network requirements. It also makes it much easier to locate event material. Alarm alerts triggered by motion detection or an external sensor can be emailed to multiple addresses over the network.
- Audio I/O Ports
- Audio from two cameras can be recorded along with their video. An internal synchronization system ensures that sound is always recorded in sync with the video.
- Watchdog Function
- An internal self diagnostic system continuously monitors the DVR's health, ensuring that an operator is not caught by surprise by a critical malfunction. It also has the ability to auto recover system settings following a power failure.
- Watermark
- A digital watermark and time/date stamp can be applied to an image or sequence of images that are being exported. This prevents them from being digitally altered, thus preserving their legal integrity.
- Stable LINUX Operating System
- By incorporating an operating system based on LINUX technology, this DVR is able to maintain stable and reliable performance through all of its complex operations.
