Bowens Gemini 500R Monolight
Simple, reliable power that works wherever you want to take photos--that's the ideal, right? The Bowens Gemini 500R Monolight hits the mark, with large digital read-outs and classic analog dials for adjusting the power in full stops and 1/10 stops from 15Ws up to 500Ws; it also works with AC or DC power (using the TravelPak battery), so you can work miles from any electrical outlet. The 250W modeling light can be set at full power, set to mimic the flash power, or set at any level you want. A card slot is built in, so you can use the Pulsar or PocketWizard remote control systems with a totally secure connection. Remote control is also available by using the Bowens IR (infrared) controller. The flash tube is user-replaceable, and the Gemini 500R accepts all "S" type attachments. Simple, but powerful. A reflector is not included.

I'm happy with my Bowens kit. Good quality light, consistent color, easy setup/ operation and fast recycle time. Only complaint is the carrying case. They used all velcro instead of zippers and the wheels could have been a lot more sturdy. I love the fact that you can put those little pocket wizard cards right in the units. It's such a cleaner look, than using plus2's.

I used it for first time few days ago on location. Loved controls and ease of use. Recycles as stated and the option of using full stops or decimal is ideal and means I don't have to move light forward or back in position for power.
