Finale Allegro 2007 from Make Music is perfect for educators, performing musicians, composers, arrangers, worship directors and students who wish to create scores and parts. Allegro shares many of its features with the flagship Finale program, but with reduced staff lines available, no video support and a smaller sound library.
Enhancements over previous versions include a powerful mixer with integrated controls for each staff that enables the user to set volume and panning as well as choose to mute, solo, or record. Reverb level can also be customized. Chord analysis looks at the harmonic progression of a selected region of a score and adds chord symbols automatically.
Pickup measures now include improved tuplet compatibility and entering extra notes for tuplets or grace notes in pickup measures has been simplified. The software can also create codas and automatically creates space, text, and symbols as well as controls playback. New textured paper backgrounds make on-screen page easy on the eyes.
