I use this with an ASUS 12" netbook to watch videos and install software. It comes with a Y-gate usb cable so that you can plug 2 USBs into the PC for better performance, however it will run on just one. My netbook has 3 USB ports so this was not an issue and I wanted one WITHOUT an external power supply. Its quiet, light, and it works. Plug and play with Win 7 64 bit.

It does what it is meant to do - burn CDs/DVDs. That is the good/pro
The bad/con: seems to need 2 USB ports to burn. Using the single USB cable resulted in nothing. No recognition by the computer.

It´s great for netbooks or notebooks without CD/DVD writer. It doesn´t need a power source, thin, can go close to the netbook! It´s a great product!
