The Benro A-258M8 Aluminum Tripod Legs is lightweight and high-quality using aluminum technology for its leg construction. It is augmented with the inclusion of components constructed of magnesium which makes the tripod lighter and stronger than its M6-series predecessor.
A-series tripods feature individual leg angle adjustments, a reversible center column with spring-loaded weight hook, foam leg grips, anti-dust and anti-moisture rubber leg lock grips, reversible 1/4-20 to 3/8" mounting threads, a compass and bubble level, and mounting set screws.

Comments about Benro A-258M8 Aluminum Tripod Legs:
This is my first quality tripod. The legs are easy to extend and retract. The tripod feels solid except when the last, skinny, legs are fully extended. Other than that it feels great. It locks down well. Even without all the leg sections extended it is comfortable for me to use at six feet tall. The last leg section is the weak link.

Comments about Benro A-258M8 Aluminum Tripod Legs:
My 1st 'quality' tripod and I must say I'm impressed by it. Heavy and sturdy enough for all I need to do with it, even with an Acratech leveling base, large Cullman panning ballhead, nodal rail, and a Oly E3 with batter grip on top.
Light enough to take anywhere, yet sturdy enough for almost anything.

Comments about Benro A-258M8 Aluminum Tripod Legs:
I purchased this tripod for a few reasons. Primarily, because I am 6'6" and need a tripod that could extend, but provide stability. With this tripod I don't have to extend the center column to provide a comfortable perspective. If I truly want it at eye level I have to raise the center column 2". I've owned several carbon fiber tripods in the past and this is great. Although heavier, it is equally sturdy and I don't mind the extra 3 pounds.

Comments about Benro A-258M8 Aluminum Tripod Legs:
Built strong with easy set up. Can leave the bottom segments in and the center down and still get my camera to eye level. Only problem I can see, is they had it built in China.
