I bought this item to use towards the end of weddings shoots, when my arms are tired. Works great! now I use it 80% of the time during shoots. My arms and shoulders don't have the hurt the next day like before.

I put a video recording camera plus a camera in various areas of my church to record different activities plus the main church services and it has worked out great. Highly recommend it for those looking for value and results in a simple product.

Comments about Benro MP-91M8 Aluminum 4-Section Monopod:
I wanted a monopod after trying one at an event. Didn't want to spend alot but wanted a quality example. The legs deploy very easily but are very secure; perfect height for me; and the hidden legs are quite handy but I would not depend on them when a tripod would be better suited for the job.

Excellent product. Will enjoy it for years.
I like the way that the legs twist to extend.
Un twisting the bottom screw and reversing it allows the legs to extend.

Really impressed by quick turn leg locks - been a while since I bought a pod. Solid sturdy, well, except 'legs'. I just needed them for the occasional self portrait..... and thats all they are good for with a light (25oz) camera and with little vertical extension. Need a fairly level surface for them also. Serves the purpose I needed them for but do not expect any stability from these legs.

I purchased so I could use my longer lenses in lower light situations and it has worked perfectly. It's a great balance of quality, weight and functionality. In a pinch you can use the optional fold out feet but if there is wind you get a some wobble.

Bought this for me DV, easy to use.
Comments about Benro MP-91M8 Aluminum 4-Section Monopod:
I use this when I need support for a big lens. Over time a big lens wears you down, this eliminates that and also keeps the lens movement to a minimum. This thing is heavy, but my opinion on that is it is still lighter than a tripod. It also is very tall. I'm 6'3'' and it is taller than I need. I find the bottom feet to be a gimmick, I can't imagine letting thousands of dollars of glass rest on that. I can't find a tilt head that matched this weight rating. Anybody know of one?

Comments about Benro MP-91M8 Aluminum 4-Section Monopod:
Tripod is well built and very functional. The tripod legs are useful but not very stable you still need a real tripod. I use a tilthead on mine and always have it with me in my camera backpack for use when I go on trips or hikes to the various islands here in Hawaii. I like the ease of use it extends quickly and locks exactly where you want it so you have stable support.

Comments about Benro MP-91M8 Aluminum 4-Section Monopod:
For a monopod, you're getting good value for money. The monopod is light, sturdy and portable. The additional legs for stability are nice, but don't confuse this for a tripod. While the monopod will stand on it's own, it is highly susceptible to vibration and wind.
