The DS-100 Digital Signage Solution with 16GB Flash Storage from Mvix is a low-cost digital media playback solution designed for use in digital signage applications. The unit can be controlled remotely over a LAN using the included PC-based software. It is capable of video, slideshow, and music playback. The solution consists of a server that stores media files and a player/renderer that plays them back on connected display(s).
- The unit has no standby mode and will start up and begin playing content automatically upon power-boot
- The scheduling features lets you control all your digital signage players from one computer
- The content can be played via a playlist stored remotely on a PC or locally on the player's flash storage
- Global Time Options allow controlled playback on a 24/7/365
- The Digital Signage Control Portal allows control of any DS-100 media player on the network in real time
- Play any media from any UPnP Server on the network and any DLNA-compliant Player on the LAN network
- It is capable of decoding dozens of digital media files and formats
- Stream different content to multiple players from your central administrative PC
- This solution is completely scalable
- The unit is fully networkable, allowing you to stream content and control your player from a remote PC on your network
- It allows PC connectivity via LAN (10/100 Mbps) or 802.1g wireless (optional) and local storage over USB ports or SD Card port
- For output, display devices can be connected via component (for up to 720p resolution) or the traditional 3-pin RCA (composite) ports
