This Nimar NI303D underwater housing is designed for the Nikon D90 digital SLR camera. With this housing you can create amazing images as you explore the underwater realm down to a depth of 200' (60m). The housing is sized and weighted for near-neutral buoyancy and superb handling underwater. The enlarged optical viewfinder provides enhanced viewing even if you are wearing a diving mask.
Camera installation is quick and simple, and the O-ring seal can be checked visually through the clear polycarbonate back. The housing front has a handsome black design. The locking system consists of secure hooks on every side of the housing. This prevents the housing from accidentally opening up. In case there is a problem and water does enter the housing, the included moisture alarm gives you enough warning with a flashing light and an audio alarm to exit the water before the camera becomes damaged.
The housing includes a free 3W LED focusing light which provides enough light for your camera's auto focus system to work properly. It is also ideal for night dives, and inside shipwrecks or caves. A mounting bracket for the housing is included, as well as a strap that allows the light to be handheld or mounted on ones hood or helmet.
An external strobe is recommended to bring back the natural colors of your subject and to reduce the illumination of particles suspended in the water. This form of aquatic light pollution is called backscatter. When the optional Nimar strobe is connected to the housing's bulkhead, you will get the convenience of automatic TTL exposure control. Other manufacturer's strobes can be used in manual mode only.
The housing features a bayonet-mount interchangeable lens port system. The standard polycarbonate zoom port for the standard Nikon kit lens is included with the housing. Other polycarbonate and optical glass ports for the use of most macro, wide-angle, and zoom lenses are available.

Comments about Nimar NI303D Underwater Housing f/ Nikon D90:
When purchasing, I did not notice the bad review given to this same housing, built for the Nikon D70. If I had, I would not have purchased it for my wife's D90.
This housing leaked during very first trial use, at only 1' depth. The installed main o-ring had nicks, pits, and a bead of excess material around the perimeter. Was this tested at the manufacturer? I replaced it with the spare o-ring, in marginally better condition. Same result -- leaks. BTW I have years of experience properly cleaning and greasing o-ring surfaces.
Other problems:
1. No desiccant pack as listed in the manual.
2. At least +4lb positive buoyancy with Premo strobe and camera installed. Will have to add weight to control it underwater.
3. Partial hole for feedthrough drilled in wrong location on housing -- other tooling marks as well.
4. Extremely difficult to get the strobe interface into the D90 shoe.
5. Floppy mechanical mount for strobe arm and focus light.
6. Very poor manual, no discussion of functions.
7. Non-responsive customer service.
Please consider other options before you buy one of these duds.
