This seems to be a good product. The picture slidshow works right away after the images were uploaded. The main problem I had was converting the .avi files so it would work. I finally figured out that they needed to not be compressed. I would recommend this frame if you are not using videos, but then you probably can just find a cheaper one that only offers images?

For the price, this little picture frame packs quite the punch. I bought it for my mom on mothers day and formatted close to 500 images and loaded them on there. She is completely happy with it. The fact that it has video and plays music is far too much for her to handle, so she's happy with the pictures. As for me, I think the picture quality is just ok. I personally don't like reading instructions so I wanted to see how easy it would be to change some of the default settings. It wasn't that easy and the fact I can't change the transition to just fade, is a little disappointing. But like I said, this thing has more bells and whistles than you can shake a stick at. Great for mom, not for a discerning eye.

I bought this for home use, mainly so my wife could have a slide show of our grandchildren. The picture quality is great except you have to be looking almost straight on; the viewing angle is not good. I suspect this is a universal problem.
I loaded over 1,000 photos onto the internal memory. I haven't tried to load any videos or music. I can't imagine that the sound quality could be very good through those tiny speakers.
The interface is a little clunky and not always intuitive. You have to kind of go through the options to find what you are looking for. There is often a couple of seconds delay when trying to select an option. When setting a schedule for the slide show to run, it seems to forget the schedule after a day or two and just stays on all the time. Not a fatal flaw, but certainly annoying.
The remote has a handy magnetic holder on the back of the frame. It's a good thing because if you lose the remote you won't be able to operate the frame.

Bought for my daughter as a gift. She told me everyone that sees it wants to know where they got it so they can go get one. Such an amazing item, purely advance technology at its best. It shows pictures, it plays video, it has sound and it is truly the best gift under the christmas tree. The colors in the display are vibrant and brilliant, and true color. The sound is superb. You can put so many pictures on here. When people come to my home I dont normally get to talk to them for a while because they are stuck viewing my picture frame.
