The EverFocus Powercon Pro 4.1 Networking Software is used in digital video recorders, video servers, and network cameras; it has an unlimited number of managed systems (DVRs, network cameras) with live and playback view options. With the software, printouts of video data / single pictures can be taken from the client PC.

The software has a multi-window design with scalable video windows. It offers free-definable multi-views with up to 4 DVR systems / network cameras or a mixed display of different DVRs (max. 64 cameras in 1 multi-view with a 4 x 16-channel DVR). The network monitor is used to check network traffic and includes a GPS module for object tracking.

Alongside basic support for browser-based third party applications, the software also has scalable maps/graphics (BMP or JPEG format) in remote DVR configurations (EDR DVR series only) for map visualization of the surveillance system. The software provides advanced access rights management, with individual user rights for functions and system access.

The software includes an integrated background port checker, which is used to check the availability of DVRs and cameras in network support of external programs. It is used to archive videos and print images from client PC to local printer. The network alarm reception and management monitors every part of the network and manages multiple user security.
