The M3800 Media Storage & Playback Enclosure from Thecus is a network hard drive enclosure with multimedia playback features. The drive boasts a dual Gigabit Ethernet and eSATA interface and (3) 3.5" SATA bays. It can also feature a pair of USB 2.0 ports for device connectivity.
The enclosure supports RAID 0, 1, 5, and JBOD configurations. Two installed drives are required for RAID 0 or 1, and a full complement of 3 drives for RAID 5. The enclosure plays back standard computer video, audio, and image files. It includes a wireless remote control and standard home theater outputs.
