We used the product as a raid 5 storage with 8 2Tb Hitachi hard drives.
The second unit is a backup ofline (Copy) unit.
The initial setup is very easy.
Worked without problemas installing drives, formating thems and creating the raid 5 (Several hours)
Poor thecnical related documentation to made the choices for the file system, the access method, users .... very short how to but no information about the parameters. Novices bee carefuls...
