The X-Scale HDMI Scaler from Smart-AVI is designed to scale analog video signals from CV/SV input source signals to digital HDMI output. This unit supports a wide range of PC and HDTV resolutions up to 1080p. Besides scaling, this device also converts digital audio to analog audio and vice versa.
The audio output is embedded in the HDMI signal and also available on separate TOSlink and left-right phone jacks simultaneously. This solution can be managed using its onscreen display menu to control parameters such as resolution and picture quality.

- The device is compliant with the following standards: HDMI 1.2, HDCP 1.1, and DVI 1.0
- It supports resolutions up to WUXGA or 1080p
- The scaler automatically detects the factory setting of the connected display and outputs the corresponding resolution and refresh rate when NATIVE output is selected
- It supports 50/60Hz frame-rate conversion
- Advanced features include: 3-D motion video adaptive, 3-D de-interlacing, and 3:2/2:2 pull-down detection & recovery
- Adjustable picture parameters include: contrast, brightness, hue, saturation, sharpness, RGB (color tone) level, and aspect ratio size
- It supports the following resolutions: PC: VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, UXGA, WXGA, WSXGA, WUXGA. SD/HD: 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p
- Audio support includes stereo LPCM analog/digital audio input and stereo LPCM analog/digital output
- Choose your audio input source from the onscreen menu, then output the audio to HDMI, TOSLink, and phone jack simultaneously
