Comments about Smith-Victor KSB-1250F 3-Light Fluorescent Economy SoftBox Kit with Mini-Boom (120VAC):
I use this for a web series, and it's great for providing even key, fill, and shoulder light.
It's a bit difficult to assemble, but I'm not breaking it down all the time, so if you're putting it together, and not breaking it down daily it should't be an issue. If you're breaking it down every day, consider something else.

Comments about Smith-Victor KSB-1250F 3-Light Fluorescent Economy SoftBox Kit with Mini-Boom (120VAC):
I've just gotten started with using this with my 10ft by 12ft green screen. The softboxes seem to put out a nice even light. The kit was a little difficult to figure out how to put together, but after getting the first light set up the other two were easy to get working.

Comments about Smith-Victor KSB-1250F 3-Light Fluorescent Economy SoftBox Kit with Mini-Boom (120VAC):
The lights aren't as bright as I thought they would be, but nicely lit the products we were shooting. Also, the boom definitely needs to be weighted with something.
Also, we've set this up twice, and the rods are already starting to get bent. Ideally we'd leave this kit set up, but it's not an option at the moment, so we'll probably need to be replacing it soon, and I don't think I'd purchase this again.

Comments about Smith-Victor KSB-1250F 3-Light Fluorescent Economy SoftBox Kit with Mini-Boom (120VAC):
I will be using this product on a film set and in a mobile application often. The first shoot I did with this kit was great and went over easily. The control with the speed rings and the angles available make this kit easy to setup. As always with almost any kit the stands leave much to be desired - especially the boom stand. I'd recommend putting a honeycomb on the front of the soft-boxes for control of spill. Overall I feel the kit is not extremely durable and will probably only last me a couple of years at best but it does the job I need. For the price this kit is spot on and will give you instantly professional results if used properly.
