International orders*Composition for Computer Musicians - Just as a photographer needs to know the basics of exposure and lighting, so does a composer need to know the basics of composition. It doesn't matter how proficient you are on the computer or with your Midi system, if you don't know how to write (compose), the technology won't help you.
This book takes you by the hand and gives you more than the basics of how to use the wide variety of software out there to achieve professional sounding music. Irrespective of whether you use Reason, Live, Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, Digital Performer, Finale, Sibelius, FL Studio, SONAR, or anything else, you'll learn how to makes rhythms, basslines and leads. In addition, you'll get a dose of "sampling" as well.
All in all, this book will take you from button pushing, to actual writing - and from random noises to solid and respectable songs.
