I read other reviews that said this product was easy to install. I found this to be true. It took me less than 10 minutes to set up my desktop (by Ethernet) and two laptops (wireless). I have ATT DSL and this product seems to be configured for ATT DSL as there are Quick Start instructions for this ISP. However, it can be used with many other ISP's. The wireless signals are strong all throughout the house. I have used it for a month and have had no dropped wireless signals and no issues. I'm very happy with this product.

The design may be a bit outdated but the build is quality and the price is right.
Range is very good.
Easy setup with instructions that warn how to avoid difficulties with AT&T setup.
It may not have the range or speed of an "N" router, but works speedy enough with my Mac, Dell and Gateway.

I always have problems with the latest technologies; had to be trained by my grandson to shut off my PS3, TWICE! This modem had the best step by step instructions I have ever followed. I was up and running in a few moments. Works great with PS3, WII, Laptop, PSP, and my Mac.The only drawback was lack of support from a major American telephone and DSL provider; no surprise there. The modem connected effortlessly but I did not have account numbers, IDs, etc from the telegraph and DSL company. After literally hours on the phone on a Saturday, they let me know the department I needed, (customer service? lol) was not open on weekends. I tried with no success for several more days and finally they offered support via telephone for additional $49 in charges since I did not purchase the modem from them.

I got this to replace my modem and wireless router. I had a hard time setting up (the auto config didn't work here in Bangkok, Thailand). But the manual config did work! I used to get less than 512kpbs with my Dlink modem and dropped connection, so far I've had this for 2 days with no dropped connections, and 6mpbs. Really enjoying the fast downloads I'm having, and having one unit versus 2. I have one desktop and 4 wireless laptops at home, and all are connected fine. See how long this would last. Also helpful is how you can see your modem's activity by going to a site, where you'll have options with your modem. Now, I only have one unit versus having a modem and a separate wireless router. We were having a problem with constantly dropping our DSL wireless internet. This product "fixed" the problem... no drops since we set it up and the wireless coverage is much broader. My son was having the same problem in his business office. It worked great for him... so I listened to him and bought the same thing... and he was right!!!
