The American Dynamics AD1314HB24 Housing is suitable for indoor as well as outdoor applications. An optional sunshield is available for this housing (AD1314-SS) which shelters it from harsh sunlight and rain without interfering with the lens view. With an outside length of 17.7 inches, the housing is compatible with most zoom lenses and CCD cameras, allowing for a maximum camera/lens length of 10 inches. The installation and servicing is hassle-free as the housing cover has a 180° opening to ensure complete and easy access to the camera and lens.
With an IP4/NEMA-3R rating and high-impact Magnum 941 polymer construction, the housing is tough and provides excellent protection for the camera. The housing is tamper-resistant; it also has an electrically isolated camera platform made with non-conducting materials to eliminate common grounding problems. Moreover, this versatile housing offers you a wide variety of mounting options - Ceiling, Wall, Pole, Corner, and Pedestal.
