American Dynamics AXIS Video 241Q Server Blade
For illustrative purpose only

The American Dynamics Video 241Q Server Blade from Axis is a full-featured server for security surveillance and remote monitoring. It offers analog cameras the benefits of IP-based network connectivity and features four analog channels. The server blade converts analog video signals into high-quality, de-interlaced, digital video streams that are sent over an IP network.

Sophisticated functions like built-in motion detection, SNMP, and simultaneous Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 streams are included in the system integration and network utilization system. MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG streams can be sent simultaneously from each channel and at full frame rate. Up to 20 viewers can access the Video 241Q Server Blade simultaneously when using Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 unicast.

Powerful event management tools include image upload, alarm notification, and activation of external devices such as lights, doors or alarms. The video server's serial ports enable pan/tilt/zoom control of PTZ cameras over the network.

The Video 241Q Server Blade supports video motion detection which triggers an alarm when activity is detected in the video image. Advanced scheduling tools included in the server are used to trigger events. The server also comprises a complete set of security features such as multiple user access levels, HTTPS encryption, and IP address filtering.
