The American Dynamics 243 4-Channel IP Encoder Blade from Axis, when combined with the 291 1U VSR (Video Server Rack) becomes part of a full frame rate, high-density video rack solution.
The IP Encoder Blade provides full-featured digital benefits for analog surveillance systems. It helps analog systems utilize high-performance IP solutions while delivering the highest resolution (4CIF), making it ideal for surveillance and remote monitoring.
The system integration and network utilization are optimized with functions such as built-in motion detection, SNMP, and simultaneous Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 streams. Up to 20 viewers can access each video input on the 243Q Blade simultaneously when using Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 unicast. The number of simultaneous viewers can be increased by using multicast MPEG-4.
Powerful event management tools included in the 243 4-Channel IP Encoder Blade are image upload, alarm notification, and I/O control. The two-way integrated audio support provides one audio stream in each direction; users can see and also listen in on an area and communicate requests or orders.
The 243 4-Channel IP Encoder Blade is compatible with the 201 1U VSR (Video Server Rack) or the Q7900 rack. It also comprises a complete set of security features that include multiple user access levels, HTTPS encryption, and IP address filtering, ensuring secure video handling and configuration. It also connects to all PTZ and dome cameras for easy operation of PTZ cameras across the IP network.
