American Dynamics 4-CH Color Duplex Multiplexer

The American Dynamics DMV94Q 4-CH Color Duplex Multiplexer, a more advanced system than other standard multiplexers, comes with a 720 x 480 pixel display with 256 grays and 16 million colors. The Covert camera programming feature restricts viewing of certain cameras on the monitors though they are recorded.

Three types of alarm events are supported by the multiplexer. These alarm events include video loss, alarm inputs via the rear panel, and motion detection. You can program each of the alarm events to put the device on alarm mode which can appear as on-screen alarm text, an internal buzzer sound, or/and a relay being triggered. At the same time, you can program motion detection for all individual cameras via a detection grid.

The multiplexer stores events in a non-volatile event history log chronologically, enabling the list to exhibit the most recent 255 events. With the 4-CH device, you can view live or recorded video as well as record the content simultaneously. The system allows you to freeze live and recorded images. You can increase camera record rate by programming trigger alarm inputs. You can also set the alarm dwell time to between 1 and 9,999 seconds as per the requirement.

You can adjust the gain control for each individual camera in order to restore picture quality. This feature is beneficial when the video signal integrity is affected due to the cameras being positioned at a long distance. The multiplexer contains two levels of password protection - one of for resetting to factory settings and the other for configuring during installation. The multiplexer can enable up to three pre-programmed main monitor sequential switching modes.
