Comments about Kanex HDMIEXE60 HDMI to Cat 5/6 Extender:
I needed an HDMI extender because I have one PS3 that I wanted to connect to two separate 1080p TVs; the first one I bought was a cheap thing for $30 that worked, but the screen on one TV would flicker during actual gameplay.
Also, forgot to note, the TVs are connected by about 60-70 feet of cat6e cables. In any case, I thought I could tolerate this until the flickering got so bad that it was really impossible to play on the second TV.
When I decided to spend a bit more on an extender, I found this one. I was a bit dubious because the packaging for this extender as well as the packaging for my first extender are IDENTICAL. They are literally the same box, except this one had a cheap little label with the Kanex brand name. I thought perhaps it'd be the same manufacturer/extender until I actually tried it out.
For one, this extender actually does work. I haven't seen any flickering at all. And... that's really it! There's nothing much to say, other than that it works and that's all I care about :)
