Ikelite #6856.20 TTL Underwater Housing for Olympus E-620

This Ikelite housing for the Olympus E-620 camera is an injected molded clear polycarbonate case, known for its strength and corrosion-free properties. The housing offers an unobstructed view of the camera's information and control functions and operates safely to a depth of 200'. Camera installation is quick and simple, and the o-ring seal can be checked visually through the clear housing. The release handle system allows for easy attachment and removal of SubStrobe mounting arms at the touch of a button. The housing is sized and weighted for near neutral buoyancy and superb handling underwater.

This housing has circuitry that converts Olympus TTL signals from the hot shoe for TTL compatibility with Ikelite DS SubStrobes. This is not a TTL by "watching the camera strobe" slave system but real Olympus TTL control when connecting strobes by a sync cord.

Exposure can be adjusted directly through the back of the housing using two pushbuttons. Settings are clearly indicated even at night by a series of LED lights. The TTL mode provides 4 half f/stop increments over or under flash compensation to fine-tune exposure. Eight manual power settings in half-stop increments allow for complete creative control.

An assortment of interchangeable lens ports allows use of most macro, wide angle, and zoom lenses. The Ikelite Super-Eye magnifier comes standard and offers enhanced visibility of the camera's viewfinder while wearing a diving mask. The camera's live-preview feature can also be used to its full potential with an unobstructed view through the back of the housing. Controls are provided through the housing for every camera function except the optical eyepiece diopter.

Note: Requires Lens Port, to match specific lens on SLR camera. Please also note that zoom lenses require addition of a Close-Up #4 diopter filter on the lens.
