16x9 Inc. 169-HDWA6X-HVX EXII 0.6x Wide Angle Adapter
The 16x9 Inc. 169-HDWA6X-HVX is a 0.6X wide angle adapter. This attachment offers a top-quality and cost-effective method of obtaining wider angle images on a Panasonic HVX200. With its single-element design and minimal barrel distortion, this lightweight adapter makes an excellent solution when shooting handheld video in tight spaces.
Note! While all single-lens elements have very limited zooming capabilities, the EXII 0.6X makes partial zooming possible with cameras that have autofocus capability.

Like most HVX200 users I was surprised, and a little frustrated, at how narrow the lens was on the camera. This wide-angle does a nice job mitigating the problem. This lens also allows for partially zooming through; (30%- 40% of lens length) additionally, it comes with a bayonet mount for the HVX-200, a critical feature for rigors of professional work.
It's not perfect. There is some barrel distortion when fully wide and when shooting in HD we've noticed a hint of softness in the corners. (Not noticeable in 4:3 SD) By virtue of its bayonet mount, it replaces the factory lens hood so you will also need to purchase a W/A lens hood or use a matte box.
Having used the Century Optics wide-angle adapter with this camera, I can say that the 16X9 Inc. lens provides comparable results.
