Canon's Legria HF20 High Definition 'PAL' Camcorder provides you with 12 hours of true 1920 x 1080 HD recording to its 32GB internal memory along with the option to record extra footage to SDHC memory cards. The camera captures clean, clear video and stills thanks to the 3.89Mp CMOS sensor and the DIGIC DV III Image Processor, while the 2.7" Multi-Angle Widescreen LCD, SuperRange Optical Image Stabilizer and 15x HD Video Lens also enhance your video making endeavors.
The HF20 also features Face Detection and Video Snapshot Mode among other convenient functions for the casual home movie maker. For those looking to capture video with a film-look the camera offers 25p Cinema mode. In addition, higher quality audio can be captured by utilizing the external microphone terminal.
The HF20 offers HD recording to convenient, lightweight media and useful functions for the casual shooter and the aspiring film-maker alike.

- Record up to 12 hours of video to the 32GB internal flash memory. Expand your recording time by using an optional SDHC memory card.

- Capture vivid color and clean images with the 3.89Mp Full HD CMOS sensor. Along with the DIGIC DV III Image Processor you'll see excellent color reproduction, reduced image noise and great low light recordings.
- Canon 15x HD Video Lens
- The 15x HD Video Lens captures landscapes and tight shots easily, while providing 4 fixed zoom speeds for fluid transitions. The Super Spectra Coating keeps flare and ghosting at bay while the lens' aspheric design cuts down on aberration and boosts resolution.
- 2.7" Multi-Angle Vivid Widescreen LCD
- The multi-angle widescreen LCD gives you a generous display on which to compose and playback your shots, not to mention the ability to shoot from more angles. The hard coat Anti-Reflection surface reproduces color accurately with reduced glare and enhanced contrast.
- 3.3Mp Digital Stills
- Capture 3.3Mp digital photos to SDHC memory cards and enjoy special functions that make shooting easier, like the Histogram Display, scene modes and auto focus. You can also simultaneously capture still images while shooting video or capture stills from already recorded footage.
- SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization
- Canon's Optical Image Stabilizer corrects for hand shake, moving subjects and the inevitable slight bump. SuperRange Gyro and image sensors also correct for a wider range of incidents such as body sway and recording in a moving car as well as ensuring no loss in image quality.
