The Kata PR-420 Photo Reporter Bag (Black) is a 1680 and 840 denier ballistic nylon bag designed to carry 1-2 digital SLR camera bodies, 2-3 lenses (up to 70-200mm) with flash and accessories. There is a removable interior pad that supplies rigidity and extra protection for the equipment. The padded interior also has 2 large and 1 small modular dividers to customize the case. The top opening allows easy access to the equipment from the top of the bag without having to open the entire bag.

The 420 reporter bag has an organizer pocket on the front of the bag that will hold small personal items like a wallet, passport, and pens; and 2 large pockets will hold flash and other accessories. There is also 1 padded side pocket with a removable insert for an extra camera body and a side pocket for accessories. It is carried by a detachable handle, a removable, adjustable shoulder strap with pad or an optional DTS Insertrolley. The bag has an Elements Cover with a pocket that is used in rain or snow black side out, and in sun reverses to silver for heat reflection.

The interior of the bag is made of a loop fabric called Yelloop to which the Modi-Vers dividers can be attached. It is a bright yellow material, so that the contents can be viewed with ease
TST (Thermo Shield Technology) rib structure provides protective zones for the camera where it will most likely be impacted by shock, vibration

The shoulder strap attaches to the case via a DP dual use aluminum buckle, this rugged yet lightweight buckle, accepts either a quick-release hook or the strap itself. Either option ensures that the strap will cross the shoulder at the optimal angle for comfort and stability

      Comments about Kata PR-420 Photo Reporter Bag:

      This is a great bag for travel or as a day bag when you don't need a full kit of lenses, flashes, etc. The bag easily accomodated a Canon 1D Mark IV body with a 16-35mm f2.8 lens attached, 135mm f2 lens, 580 ex flash, ST-E2 transmitter, and a Canon T2i body in one of the side pockets. It comes with a rain cover that has come in very handy several times already and was easy to put on, take off and store. Very well constructed and definitely one of the most practical bags I've owned.
