The 1TB Big Disk Network Hard Drive from LaCie is an advanced network hard drive with a Gigabit Ethernet interface. The drive allows you to share files among Windows, Mac, and Linux systems on your network. It also features USB and eSATA ports for storage expansion, UPnP streaming, Wake-on-LAN capability, and Active Directory support.
The drive is housed in an aluminum enclosure with an integrated heat sink for cooling. This design is both visually impressive and quiet, a combination that is sure to make an impression. The drive's blue orb is actually a button which, when activated, triggers 1-click file import from a connected USB or eSATA device.
