American Dynamics Manchester Fixed Speed Receiver/Driver - 24VAC

The American Dynamics AD1641M2 Fixed Speed 1-Channel Manchester Receiver/Driver makes American Dynamics switchers and controllers compatible with most pan/tilt cameras as well as motorized lens controls such as the zoom, focus, and iris functions. Auxiliary devices driven by 24VAC power supplies can also be controlled by American Dynamics switchers and controllers through this 1-channel receiver/driver. The auxiliary control even allows you to manage the Autopan On/Off function as well as to direct the window washers/wipers, gate controllers, and door releases. The receiver is connected to the cameras, lenses, and any auxiliary devices through multi-conductor cables. The unit can drive continuous and standard 24 VAC pan/tilts.

With 71 programmable presets, this 1-channel receiver/driver has a built-in preset support standard. The presets are maintained even in the case of a power supply interruption. Autopan between presets is also possible with this unit. As far as a preset for the pan/tilt and zoom lens is concerned, you can revisit the preset scenes any time, since these scenes use non-volatile memory for backup.

Having two auxiliary outputs, cameras at remote locations can also be controlled with the receiver/driver. For outdoor installations, an IP64/NEMA-4 rated enclosure kit can be attached to the unit if required. Field troubleshooting and pan/tilt adjustment is possible through the local test mode itself.

The 1-channel receiver/driver uses a single serial data control link to connect with the switcher/controller during operation. Twisted pair, fiber optic, microwave, phone lines, or other similar links are used for control code signal transmission from the switcher/controller. Functionality of this receiver/driver is enhanced with adjustable zoom lens control and the auto-sense circuit.

Surface-mounted, this receiver/driver weighs between 1.8 and 2.2 kgs., the outdoor unit being heavier due to the non-metallic optional enclosure. The unit's case is made of black anodized aluminum.
