The Dedolight Ledzilla Mini LED Daylight Camera Light with Battery Shoe packs a lot into a pint-sized package. The small on-board camera light focuses from -4° to 56°, with a flip-up diffuser making the beam even wider. Built-in barndoors for offer sharp shadows or a gentle light-shadow transition while quick conversion from daylight to tungsten light using the built-in dichroic filter avoids nfumbling with tape and gels.
An adjustable support arm allows the light to be positioned above and forward of the camera; and employs dimming that works from full power to zero, with no color change.
Key attributes include very low power consumption (8W) considering the output, and the ability to power from any 6V to 18V source using an optional power cable (including any Anton Bauer or PAG system, car cigarette lighter output or battery belt). The included battery shoe is compatible with Sony NP-F and Panasonic VW-VBD1 batteries. The Ledzilla operates from -40°F to 104°F (-40°C to +40°C). A front-end bayonet allows you to add attachments and light modifiers.

Comments about Dedolight Ledzilla Mini LED Daylight Camera Light with Battery Shoe:
I got this including the soft box attachment and the biggest plus for this thing is it's versatility.
It has a fairly high output considering it's quite small and the barn doors and filters are great.
The only problem is there is no way of rotating the head, so that the barn doors face horizontally instead of vertically :/
Also, while using the barn doors the light shifts to a yellow cast at the edges, which is quite annoying.
Other than that, it's an awesome piece of hardware.

Comments about Dedolight Ledzilla Mini LED Daylight Camera Light with Battery Shoe:
I am using this product as a cool, portable "open face" and quasi-fresnel, primarily as a kicker/backlight. It has a reasonable light output, nice focusing, hard light with sharp shadows. It runs for hours on battery power, it is light and flexible. The main drawback is that it is designed as an on-camera light and doesn't easily attach to a light stand (which is my primary use). This item would rate 5 stars if it had better options for attaching to a stand.
Comments about Dedolight Ledzilla Mini LED Daylight Camera Light with Battery Shoe:
I would give this light 0 stars, if I had that option. This company charged me [$]under warranty for testing a light I sent in to them. Apparently the problem is with my batteries and not their light. Their customer service is pretty bad, I would be cautious before buying their products.

Comments about Dedolight Ledzilla Mini LED Daylight Camera Light with Battery Shoe:
This is a brilliant little unit; I'm using it mainly to add just a touch of fill and eyelight outdoors which it can handle admirably. Previously, one would have had to mount an on-camera HMI with an over-the shoulder battery pack. This unit uses readily available batteries and fits in the extra space of a camera bag. My only minor complaint is that there is a small LED light that comes on when the light itself is off (though it does make it handy to see the power switch in the dark I suppose). Not that it really drains the battery all that much; however, if one left it in the camera bag for a week unusued...
The barndoors, focus control and flip down tungsten and diffusion filters are very useful. Also, the ability to dial in an exact amount of light with no colour shift is invaluable.

I had tried a significantly cheaper light but it quickly fell apart. After the first use of this light I'm totally sold. You're paying for build quality, ease of use, adaptability and quality of light. Great product!

Comments about Dedolight Ledzilla Mini LED Daylight Camera Light with Battery Shoe:
Great light for on-camera use or as part of a portable kit.
Like others say - the single source LED is terrific in terms of having control over your light. And with the attached barn doors you can really shape this thing. It's well built - and I love the flood and spot control. Nice.
In controlled environments you can pack a few of these suckers in a bag and have a nice, small travel kit for out of town interviews etc No reason not to take this thing with you everywhere you go.
One small complaint is the lack of a power cord. It can be picked up separately as an accessory, but I do feel it couldn't hurt to have included it.
I do recommend getting the wall cord - but realize it's about 4-ft long, so the wall wart will weigh the light down as it will dangle about a foot or more off the ground depending on how you use it.
So.... love the light and all it's potential. Anxious to put it to use on a job next week. But, I have to take away a star out of principle for not including a wall plug like anyone else would.

At Last! A truly professional on/off-camera video light!
Any experienced sparks or shooters will love the solid feel and quality functions this light offers:
Barn doors that actually do something useful!
A dimmer that doesn't alter the colour temperature!
A *single* light source (LED) that doesn't create multiple shadows!
A true spot and flood function!
This is a quality light for the professional in need of a "mini" light source.
