The American Dynamics Six-Position SensorNet J-Box (Indoor) receives data from a compatible controller and feeds the data to the domes; it supports up to 6 SpeedDome, SpeedDome Ultra, and Optima domes, and meets Class 2 LPS power requirements.
You can configure the J-Box for either 120 or 230 VAC input. The unit has an On / Off power switch and diagnostic LEDs for Host, Aux, Dome Activity, Noise, and Power; a hinged front cover contains a lockable quick-release cover latch for security.
The surge protection circuitry protects interior equipment from sudden voltage surges in exterior power and data lines. The Six-Position J-Box can be surface-mounted on concrete, wood, or sheet rock, or even on a ceiling or pole.

- Diagnostic LEDs illuminate to indicate the following conditions:
- AC Power is yellow when 24 VAC from the transformer to the PCB is present.
- +5 VDC is green when DC power from the onboard regulator is present.
- False CD is red for 0.5 sec if the device receives a false pulse (indicating noise on the SensorNet cable).
- 123 is yellow for 30ms to indicate communications activity from dome ports 1, 2, or 3.
- 456 is yellow for 30ms to indicate communications activity from dome ports 4, 5, or 6.
- Aux is yellow for 30ms to indicate communications activity from the auxiliary port.
- Host is yellow for 30ms to indicate communications activity from the host port.
- Diagnostic LEDs illuminate to indicate the following conditions:
