The American Dynamics Ten Position J-Box (RS-422, 120 VAC) receives data from a compatible controller, and feeds the data to the domes; it supports up to 10 SpeedDome, SpeedDome Ultra, and Optima domes, and meets Class 2 LPS power requirements.
The indoor J-Box has diagnostic LEDs on the PC board for RS-422 communication, and a captive screw for securing the front cover. The surge protection circuitry protects interior equipment from unexpected voltage surges on exterior power and data lines. The unit allows hardware or line cord power connectivity, and is surface-mountable to concrete, wood, or sheet rock.
